Tom is the Chief Operating Officer of the Digital Transformation Agency, where he draws on his extensive expertise in strategy development and implementation, risk management, financial analysis and business continuity.

Committed to operational excellence, Tom plays a vital role in ensuring the agency's initiatives are executed with precision, resilience, and a forward-thinking approach.

Tom’s career is distinguished by a broad range of leadership roles across both the private and public sectors, including positions with Big Four consulting firms and Big Six legal practices, as well as Commonwealth and State Government agencies. His professional experience also includes significant contributions to private equity ventures, board membership, and executive leadership teams, equipping him with the practical expertise required to deliver meaningful results.

Before joining the DTA, Tom held high-profile roles such as CFO, COO, and Deputy Secretary at several esteemed organisations, including KPMG, Clayton Utz, NSW Treasury, Justice NSW, and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. During his tenure in these roles, he excelled in devising complex financial strategies, managing risk, and driving large-scale programmes to successful outcomes.

Renowned for his leadership in finance, risk management, programme delivery, organisational redesign, and talent management, Tom has consistently demonstrated the ability to create and implement frameworks that deliver measurable impact. His skill in balancing operational detail with strategic vision ensures the DTA remains at the forefront of delivering more efficient, streamlined, and connected government services.
