The purpose of the Reconciliation Action Plan is to raise awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and to lay the foundations for the agency to be more ambitious in the future in providing appropriate opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
The DTA is committed to the safety and well-being of children through the promotion and maintenance of a culture that does not permit or tolerate child abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
