Upcoming Digital Sourcing Network events

24 October 2019

The Digital Sourcing Network is heading into its busiest month since launching in April, with 6 events confirmed in November and 1 planned for the end of the year.

Events will cover a wide variety of subjects, starting on 6 November with the third Digital Sourcing Network Working Group, Contracting for Iterative, Outcomes Based Solutions. This Working Group will explore the challenges associated with contracting to support iterative project delivery.

It is followed by a sold-out Seller Information and Training Session in Hardware and Software Marketplace on 7 November, then a S/4HANA Tools Workshop for users of the SAP Whole-of Government-Arrangement on 13 November.

Another Hardware and Software Marketplace training session–this time for buyers–will happen on 14 November. This session is a repeat of a previous one, with a third session scheduled for December to meet demand.

The last 2 confirmed events for the month focus on agile methodology and how it fits into procurement. Government procurement and contracting specialist Caroline Atkins will discuss Agile procurement in ICT projects on Wednesday 20 November, and the Digital Records Transformation Initiative will demonstrate an Agile strategic sourcing framework they developed with advice from our co-Lab team on Tuesday 26 November.

We are also planning a final event on sourcing data analytics capability toward the end of the year. If you’d like to keep up-to-date, please send an email to dsn@dta.gov.au and we will add you to the DSN mailing list.
