myGov update — delivering a better experience for Australians
13 March 2020
We’re looking for a systems integrator with hosting and software partnerships to deliver a myGov update platform that will operate as an extension to, and in parallel with, myGov. It will improve the way people and businesses to interact with government information and services.
People and businesses increasingly want to interact with government through digital channels. Large, customer service-focused companies have modernised and transformed their digital experience in recent years. Australians expect a similar experience from government so they can easily access information and services when and where they need them.
About the request
The Services Australia strategy shows digital services are fragmented and difficult to use. There is no single platform where customers can access services and information relevant to their needs. Enhancements to myGov will enable a more effective model for government to deliver the information and services people and businesses need, in a way that works for them.
We've released an opportunity through the Digital Marketplace to engage a systems integrator with hosting and software partnerships to deliver this project. It will be open until 6pm AEST on 15 April 2020.
Scope
This myGov update platform will offer government information and services across portfolios and jurisdictions and will integrate these around the events people experience in their life, such as having a baby or experiencing a natural disaster.
Advice to sellers
- Sellers can provide multiple delivery options within their response to this opportunity.
- Sellers must respond to this request through the Digital Marketplace.
- Only the systems integrator needs to be on the Digital Marketplace.
- We have included enough time in the schedule to allow sellers to join the Digital Marketplace through the standard application process.
