Winners - Australian Government’s Digital Awards 2019

The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) has announced the winners of the Australian Government’s Digital Awards 2019 during a ceremony at the National Convention Centre in Canberra last night.
The Awards recognised excellence in government digital products, services, partnerships and individuals across seven categories.
The winners are:
Outstanding digital delivery: product or service
Department of Health for ‘Helping Australians make informed choices about their aged care’.
Outstanding digital delivery: platform
Geoscience Australia for ‘Digital Earth Australia hybrid cloud platform for exploiting satellite imagery for Australia’.
Outstanding digital delivery: emerging technology
Department of Industry, Innovation and Science for ‘VeRA, the venture capital reporting and analytics system’
Outstanding digital delivery: methodology or approach
Department of Transport and Main Roads Queensland for ‘TMR digital incubator: building TMRs agility for a digital future’
Excellence in partnerships: government/industry
Engine Group for ‘Lifechecks’ with Department of Health, Treasury, Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business, Department of Social Services, Department of Human Services, Department of Education and Training, and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission
Excellence in partnerships: multi-agency
Treasury and Australian Taxation Office for ‘eInvoicing’ with NZ Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment

The Awards ceremony followed DTA’s inaugural Digital Summit that occurred earlier in the day, where digital leaders and practitioners came together to share their digital transformation stories and showcase the latest in digital across government.
