Join the agency driving a digital government
The Digital Transformation Agency is a small agency —about 300 people — with whole of government impact. We drive strategic advice and policy across Australian Government digital and ICT investments.
The DTA drives digital transformation across the Australian Government. Examples of our success in 2024 include delivering key initiatives to achieve the 2030 Vision of the Data and Digital Government Strategy.
We take major steps to uplift the digital experience for communities and businesses. Our research and advice helps improve accessibility, inclusion, usability, and set measures for what success looks like across digital government services.
The DTA undertook a world first government-wide generative AI trial outlining the potential use cases and productivity improvements AI assistants can offer the Australian Public Service (APS).
All of this as we continue developing a suite of policies and guidance that help the APS take advantage of broader AI solutions in a safe and responsible way.
None of this would be possible without our dedicated team.
